Cemix® Cempoxy Grout is a pourable, low viscosity, lightly filled, high strength epoxy grout. It has good mechanical properties and chemical resistance. Cemix® Cempoxy Grout is non-shrink and has excellent adhesion to concrete, steel, stone, timber and many other materials. Also available with a cold cure hardener for use from 0ºC - 10ºC.

Substrates should be clean & free from all contaminants, loose particles, coatings, curing compounds, dirt, oil, grease etc. Prepare concrete by honing or etching where possible. Prepare steel by grinding or sand blasting. Substrates must be sound & roughened to ensure a good bond.
The area to be grouted must be enclosed with good quality rigid watertight formwork. The formwork should be constructed with enough room to use a grout header box system. The formwork must be able to rigidly confine the Cemix® Cempoxy Grout until it has set. Treat the formwork with paste wax or polyethylene. Formwork should be flushed out just prior to application.
Header box & Air Vents:
Use a suitable grout header box delivery system to pour the product into place. Create a head of pressure in the header box to force the grout into place. Keep the header box full of grout at a level well above the finished grout level. Use a plunger if required. Avoid air entrapment by applying from one-side and use suitable air vents to vent air as the grout flows into place.
Movement / Control Joints:
Honour any control joints in the concrete substrate – do not apply product over control joints. Create control joints in the grout as required especially in long thin sections.
Cemix® Cempoxy Grout is supplied in packs containing the correct proportions of resin, aggregate and hardener. Mix whole packs at a time; do not mix part packs. Cut a slot in the Resin lid about 60mm x 60mm. Remove the Hardener lid & fit the bottle through the slot. Allow the Hardener to fully drain into the resin. Remove Resin lid & thoroughly mix the Resin & Hardener thoroughly. Mix for 3 - 4 minutes using a low speed drill & paddle or a suitable mechanical grout mixer. Avoid entrapping air during mixing. During mixing scrape the sides bottom of the container or mixer with a scraper to ensure that all components are incorporated. Larger volumes will generate heat & reduce pot life.
Use product immediately after mixing. Pour grout onto a clean, dry & roughened substrate. Typical application depths are from 1mm - 40mm in one pour. For thicker pours allow each layer to harden & cool. Then pour the next layer within 24 hours to ensure proper bonding. If required use a suitable header box delivery system and air vents as described above. Application is from one side only completely filling the void & avoiding air entrapment. Once grout has been poured into position & started to cure, do not disturb or attempt to rework. Final finishing should ensure material is flush with the bottom edge of the base plate. Finishing of exposed surfaces is aided by using a trowel wiped with Cemix cleaning and thinning solvent just before the material becomes unworkable.
Post Application Procedure:
Protect grout from extreme temperatures, rain & water after application. Do not allow grout to drop below 10ºC until it has reached its minimum compressive strength. Do not wet cure epoxy grout.

One (1) year in original unopened containers. Do not store opened containers.
Clean all tools & equipment before product hardens with Cemix® Cleaning and Thinning Solvent. Clean hands & skin with soap & warm water.
Do not apply product on to surfaces less than 10oC or more than 35oC. Do not use product in temperatures less than 10oC or more than 35oC.
